The deal
CaptionTwin is a tool that turns audio you record into bilingual subtitles and AI-generated study notes. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your responsibilities
You agree to: (a) only record audio you have the right to record under the laws of your jurisdiction; (b) not upload content that infringes copyrights, contains illegal material, or is intended to harass others; (c) not attempt to reverse-engineer or overload the service.
Recording laws
Many jurisdictions require all parties to consent before recording a conversation. You are solely responsible for complying with the law where you record. CaptionTwin is a tool, not your lawyer.
AI output
Translations and notes are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions. Always verify against the original source.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe and renew automatically. You can cancel any time from the customer portal; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled case-by-case at our discretion.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for users who breach these terms or attempt to abuse the service. We'll attempt to give you warning where reasonable.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the extent allowed by law, our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
